
Margarita Correa Henao – Chairwoman
Anthropologist from the University of Antioquia, with a postgraduate degree in Senior International Management, specializing in Social and Human Development, with an emphasis on generating productive employment in vulnerable and low-income communities. Kellogg Foundation Scholar in Leadership and Development.
She has extensive experience in the private sector, having worked with organizations such as Corporación Mundial de la Mujer Medellín and the Private Committee for Child Assistance. She was a Board Member of the Antioquia Federation of NGOs, Cooperativa Emprender, and Microserfin Panamá. Additionally, she was a Technical Committee Member at SENA and served for six years as a Board Member of Microfinanzas Puerto Rico. She was Executive Vice President of Bancamía S.A. until March 2017, after which she was appointed Chairwoman of the Board of Directors, a position she has held ever since.
